Various rooms and a semi-commercial kitchen are available for hire at the Public Hall, which range from a small meeting room to the main Hall. The building has recently received  a raft of improvements, from improved accessibility (including a platform lift from the lobby to the first floor and a large wheelchair-accessible toilet that also includes an adult-sized changing bench and a hoist) to updated decor.

The Main Hall

The main Hall seats up to 300 people and is an ideal venue for hosting wedding receptions, meetings and concerts etc.  There is also a lift from the Hall to the Stage. It is also equipped with extensive performance lighting and sound systems which are available for hire.

Wheal Phoenix Room

The Wheal Phoenix room can seat up to 40 people and offers a bar area with refreshment facilities. This room is located next to the main Hall, and is the perfect partner for serving refreshments at your event. It is also ideal for meetings and other bookings

Between the Main Hall and the Wheal Phoenix Room is located a well-equipped semi commercial kitchen.

The Hobhouse Room

The Hobhouse Room is located on the ground floor and has seating for up to 35 people. This room is perfect for events such as table-top sales as well as meeting. The room also benefits from an adjoining kitchenette with refreshment facilities.

The New Liskeard and Quimperle Rooms

The New Liskeard and Quimperle rooms seat up to 25 or 40 people respectively and both offer refreshment facilities.

The Council Chamber

The Council Chamber is the perfect place for formal meetings, with seating for up to 30 people.
